Bostall Gardens Friends’ Group are trying to create the biggest Crocus field in Greenwich.  They are hoping to bring a sea of yellow, purple and white to your local park.  They had over 3000 bulbs to plant.

On the 1st December we took a small group of children to help with the bulb planting.  We had a lovely time and were very interested in how the bulbs looked like tiny onions.  We cannot wait to see our beautiful flowers growing in the Spring.

Dear Teachers, Children and Parents/Carers,

We would just like to say a huge thank you to all of those who came and braved the cold weather on Wednesday December 1st, to help plant crocuses in Bostall Gardens.

Your involvement in our Crocus Field Project was really appreciated.

We hope you will enjoy seeing the fruits of your hard work when the crocuses emerge in flower in Spring next year.

The Abbey Wood Community will all benefit from the fruits of your labour!

Thank you once again
